If your home is not safe, tell us.

We know it is hard to ask. You will not be judged here, and you will not be put on display. Tell us what is happening and we will tell you the truth about what we can do.

What we can help with

We work on housing. That is our whole job.

  • Repairs that make a home safe again — a failing roof, a rotted floor, a door that will not lock, a step that will not hold.
  • Conditions in a home that are making someone sick or unsafe.
  • Housing repair and rebuilding after a qualifying disaster.
  • New affordable housing for families who qualify.

What we cannot help with

We would rather say this now than waste your time.

  • We cannot pay rent, a mortgage, a deposit, or a utility bill.
  • We cannot stop an eviction or a foreclosure.
  • We cannot provide emergency shelter tonight.
  • We cannot help with a property you do not have a legal right to repair.

If you need one of those things, we will still try to point you toward someone who can. Call or email and ask.

Who we can serve

We use written eligibility rules and we apply them the same way for everyone. When we look at a request, we look at:

Your income and financial need
We serve households with limited financial resources.
The condition of your home
How urgent is the health or safety problem?
Your legal right to the property
Do you own it, or do you have another legal standing that lets us work on it?
Whether we have the money and materials
We do not start what we cannot finish.
Where you live
Each program has a service area.

Every decision is documented and approved by our board using the same objective criteria. We do not discriminate. We follow written conflict-of-interest rules.

What happens after you reach out

  1. You tell us what is going on. Use the form below or email us. Whatever is easiest.
  2. We reply. We will tell you honestly whether this is something we may be able to help with.
  3. We look closer. If it looks like a fit, we ask more questions and we may ask to see the home.
  4. Our board decides. Approvals are documented against our written criteria.
  5. We plan the work. If we move forward, licensed contractor partners handle the licensed work and supervised volunteers help.

We are a new organization and we are honest about that.

Living Stone Homes was formed in 2025. We are preparing our first project. That means the wait may be long, and we may not be able to help you right now.

Reach out anyway. Knowing what the need is in this community is how we decide what to build first.

Your privacy

We never publish your name, your address, or a photograph that identifies you. Nothing about your situation goes on this website or on social media without your written permission. Your file stays private.
